GETTING THERE
Bintan Resort Ferries (BRF) offers a convenient ferry service between Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) in Singapore and Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Ferry Terminal in Bintan Resorts. The high-speed catamaran ferry takes just 60 minutes to reach Bintan.
Booking Ferry Tickets
You can book ferry tickets online at www.brf.com.sg. Tickets are also available for purchase at the ferry terminal, where both cash and card payments are accepted. For a touch of luxury, opt for the Emerald Class on Bintan Resort Ferries.

Important Tips
- Time Zone: Remember, Bintan is 1 hour behind Singapore.
- Arrival Time: Arrive at the ferry terminal at least 2 hours before departure.
- Luggage: Collect your luggage from the ferry and take it with you to immigration at BBT Ferry Terminal.
- Travel Insurance: Optional AIG travel insurance for Bintan is available on the BRF website.
Getting to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal
From Singapore Changi Airport:
- Taxi: A taxi ride from Changi Airport to TMFT takes about 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
- MRT and Bus:
- Take the MRT to Tanah Merah Station.
- Exit the station at Exit B and head to Bus Stop 85091.
- Board SBS Transit Bus Service 35 to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
If arriving at Changi Airport Terminal 1, take the Sky Train to Terminal 2 or 3 to access the MRT.
Leaving Bintan:
If you’re catching a flight from Changi Airport after your visit to Bintan, plan for a 3-4 hour window to ensure you have enough time for your journey, considering the mode of transport.

Visitors can fly from Jakarta to Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Tanjungpinang, Bintan Island. This is a convenient option for those traveling domestically. After landing, it’s about a 1-hour drive to reach Bintan Resorts, where the marathon event will take place.
Traveling from Batam to Bintan is easy and convenient. You can take a regular speed boat from Telaga Punggur Domestic Port in Batam to Tanjung Uban Ferry Terminal in Bintan. The speed boats run every 30 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of options for your journey.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date you arrive in Bintan, Indonesia.
